Conveniently located right off Interstate 495, Plainville is a quiet town with a thriving economy. With a brand-new town hall, fire station and police station due to be completed in 2019, Plainville is making the necessary updates to continue its reputation as a safe family friendly community. Plainville is the proud home of Jeff Kinney, author and creator of the Diary of a Whimpy Kid book series.
